Following our mentor Nelson Mandela’s path, who once said “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”, we believe that education gives one a chance to improve themselves from within. Education is the most important factor in ensuring the success of disadvantaged children in developing countries like India, which means that improving their lot in life is essential to the advancement of the nation as a whole.
Our approach is towards working with and for children so that no child has to worry about the cost and focus on their ultimate goal. The major focus of our work is on education because it is such a strong tool for bringing about social change.
Academics Education
Our programmes and initiatives aim to create learning environments that are open to everyone, consider gender dynamics, and ensure everyone's safety. Both the Right to Education Act of 2009 and the National Education Policy 2020 shall be taken into consideration while developing our educational programmes. Over time, governments and international institutions have worked to reduce these obstacles by developing a set of legal and policy frameworks that aim to give every person an equal opportunity for education.
Also, the books and educational guidance provided to the students by our subject experts and our advisors will help students identify their true potential and also help them choose their subjects as per interest. The new project will build upon and strengthen our existing work to promote education to all children irrespective of their religion, caste, race, gender, or place of birth.
Mental Education
Mental education is the type of education that is the most well-known and extensively practiced throughout the world but is still abridged in India. With a few exceptional circumstances, there exist gaps that render it something extremely inadequate and, ultimately, rather insufficient.
The type of education that is often provided is at most capable of acting as a form of mental gymnastics designed to make the brain more flexible. When seen from this angle, each subfield of human learning may be construed as its own unique kind of mental acrobatics, and the verbal formulations that are assigned to these distinct subfields each comprise their own distinct and well-defined language.
Physical Education
We are aware that those who participate in physical exercise may reap benefits in a variety of ways. However, these advantages are not the natural outcomes that result from taking part in a random process. Programs of physical education need to be developed in such a way that they are tailored to meet certain goals.
Our team places a strong emphasis on the mental and physical health of the students, with the end objective of enabling them to pursue their aspiration of obtaining an education and providing for their families while also living a life that is full of joy and good health.
We treat every student of ours like family, but we also think that when it comes to their physical health, they should learn more than just how to live with themselves. They should also get a head start on what it takes to live a healthy life by learning about the need for proper nutrition, the importance of exercise, and how our everyday choices and habits affect our health.
Moral Education
One way to describe moral education could be the process of assisting children and young people in the acquisition of a set of beliefs and values concerning what constitutes good and bad behaviour. This body of ideas serves as a compass for directing their goals, attitudes, and actions toward other people and their surroundings. Moral education aids in the development of a child's emotional compass, encouraging them to consider and make decisions about their relationships with others.
We, at NEED, want to place a primary emphasis on instilling strong moral principles in our young people so that they may go on to lead lives that are both more honourable and productive.
